I am beginning to lose hope in the ongoing political process in Liberia, as the visibility of betrayal lends a veneer of hope to the presidency of the tabula rasa, everything is indicating this except there is a dramatic recalibration and U-turn in the Sisyphean activities of your camp in the coming days.

Cold feet is too costly to fund in the twilight of this process, realizing that you are to speed up and outperform your opponent in order to overturn the ten percent deficit and surpass your opponent so as to save the Republic from receding into backwardness and relapsing into the reign of terror. You have the duty to step up your game or you will play a fatal ransom for your lethargy.

The backbenches should not be where you will sit, knowing full well the intrigue is working against you. The job can go; the pomp and pageantry can be suspended because of the exigency at hand. Fight to take this calamity off your head. You have been used as a docile pawn in a game where you have been pushed around to satisfy the eagle of her son. Break ranks with the hegemony to put the final nail in the coffin of your opponent.

I must say in time such as this you have to choose between temporal luxury and fight for what you rightfully believe in, or you can choose to be quarantined like a recuperating Ebola patient who is satisfying the twenty-one days countdown in order to be given a medical clemency. Neutrality in a battle whose fatality will be mammoth is suicidal, and it is an indication that your manhood has been emasculated.

Individuals whose conduct created the baggage the regime is carrying are the ones who have told you to remain orthodox and liberal, and you have yielded to their pieces of advice simply because you are afraid of them. If this is not the height of folly, then I don’t know what it is.

You have been injected with the drugs of gradualism in a battle that requires radical predisposition on issues. You have been warned to be quiet or you will lose your job in a battle that needs your best to put the final nail in the coffin of your opponents. You have been asked to go on an unceremonious trip to the United States of America under the pretext of going for a medical trip while your campaign stutters in pain. You are asked to burry your conscience against injustice like the proverbial ostrich.

Negative elements with abnormal social preference and voracious appetite for primitive accumulation whose wealth is not as a result of the sweat of thy brow now wrongfully control and decide the politics of the Republic. Until you can stop beholden these faggots and owe loyalty to the state and your conscience, you have sold out and lost out on the revolution. Courage is a virtue that is on sabbatical in you.

If you allow individuals who are your inferiors in the terrain of ideas to not only control your thought but to also keep you in the dreadful stasis of inertia, is a tragedy at self-immolation. Your thought at this critical crossroad of our nation’s history is needed to redeem the state.  Put aside the Velvet gloves and wear the boxing gloves to give your detractors a decisive knockout punch. History has not given you the luxury of time to play folly to this national task.

I can remember that you used to quote from the polemic of revolution; you were good at bringing historical knowledge to bear on nagging issues. You quoted Karl Marx, Fidel Castro, Mao Zedong, Amilcar Cabral, Gamal Abdel Nasser, and Emiliano Zapata. I am beseeching you to go back and read these people to understand the political intrigue that is in full throttle. You must work against time to bust this orchestration.

Of course the revolution is not a dinner party as rightly articulated by Chairman Mao; it is a struggle between two extreme poles. Look at the marvel that was worked by the 26th of July movement with emphasis on the Foco Theory. One ought to eliminate another before the trumpet of victory can be sounded. Go now and eliminate your opponent to redeem the state.

It is high time that you abandon a job whose lifespan is three months and fight for the redemption of your country. It is high time that you tell the witch plutocrat that the nation will not be subjected to the whims and caprices of her son. It is moment like this that you should leave your slumber and come to the barricade.

Read combat liberalism of Chairman Mao Zedong as well as his Little Red Book. Go further and Read John Milton’s Fist of Michavelli; read Nelson Mandela’s speech at the infamous Rivonia Trial. Furthermore, read the manifesto of the Umkhonto we Sizwe, and remember to read the battle slogan: “The time comes in the life of any nation when there remain only two choices – submit or fight.”

Our people don’t need to be told about what is at stake in ornate language. Do not use highfaluting grammar and complex theoretical postulates to dialogue with them. Tell them that it is a choice of choosing between stability and instability. Tell them the danger that lurks if the ‘soccer dolt’ ascends to the leadership of this country.

Tell them that the simpleton is not competent to lead not because he is a grammatical error generating machine, but because he has absolutely no clue on global politics and the externalities that influence it.  Tell them that he has no knowledge on how to run the complex bureaucracy of the state, which requires the discipline to sit in office for eight hours and beyond, and that he is not savvy at bilateral and multilateral negotiations. Tell them that you failed in a number of areas, but you will surmount the odds when you are given the chance to lead again.

Instead of living on your knees, rise and live on your feet. You have a choice to burry your conscience and support the mediocrity that is being displayed on center stage, or you can choose to fight to stop this calamity that is hovering over the homeland. Choose you now which side to take.
