A group of Liberians confronts LURD's Joe Wylie (Right) at the USIP forum

To all intents and purposes, LURD leadership herein completely disassociates itself from any remarks/comments issued by one Mr. Joe Wylie presently domiciled in the United States.

In a recent interview with COPLA, the said Joe Wylie attempted to clarify pressing and sensitive issues relative to LURD's military operations in Liberia for which he grossly misled LURD's sympathizers, since infact, he is not fully acquainted with the latest developments on the ground.

In view of the foregoing, the leadership of LURD in a bid to forestall further Cyber talks from Joe Wylie, do cordially invite him to take up permanent residence at this National Headquarters/Voinjama, Lofa County, RL, as other committed LURD officials are doing, so as to be conversant with relevant issues thereby enhancing his capacity to fully represent LURD, devoid of mis-statements and un- necessary contradictions.

To achieve the above mentioned factors, LURD leadership herein issue out the following information:

(1) That no press establishment (National or International) should grant the said Joe Wylie audience on LURD’s military operations - COPLA inclusive.

(2) That the said Joe Wylie (if committed) should demonstrate such commitment by forsaking the comforts of the United States and take-up permanent residence at this National Headquarters, Voinjama, Lofa County, Republic of Liberia.

(3) That the said Joe Wylie is NOT a genuine and official representation/conduit of LURD in the United States and Europe.

(4) That all accredited news organs (National and International) should contact the below listed information centers for any details on LURD.
