H.E. C. Gyude Bryant
Chairman
National Transitional Government of Liberia
Executive Mansion
Monrovia, Liberia
Your Excellency:
As we discussed, I am hereby tendering my resignation as Advisor on Economic Affairs in your office and Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors in order to focus my energies in the remaining months of this administration on the affairs of the Liberian Charitable Gift Fund and other associated matters.
I have enjoyed immensely the opportunity to serve you and our people and thank you for making that possible. Although no longer with an official advisory mandate, as your friend, I will remain available to provide counsel whenever you request it.
Respectfully yours,
Harry A. Greaves, Jr.

Mr. Willie Belleh
Secretary General
Liberia Action Party
Monrovia, Liberia
Dear Willie,
I wish through this medium to officially inform the party that I have decided to support the candidacy of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in the upcoming presidential elections.
I wish to settle the rumours around town that I have left LAP and joined Unity Party. I have not. However, I do think it is proper for me to remain on the National Executive Committee of LAP while I support the candidacy of someone from another party, and am consequently hereby tendering my resignation from membership of LAP’s NEC. I do so with a heavy heart, but I think it is the only honourable thing to do in the circumstances.
Yours sincerely,
Harry A. Greaves, Jr.
