A Liberian professional engineer, John K. Boimah(P.E.) has reemphasized
his fervent desire and preparedness to becoming an instrumental element
in seeing to it that Liberia gets redeemed from the ashes and debris of
war to a prewar status marked by those substantial components of lifebuoy
to include electricity.
He said it was prudent and civilized enough to give electricity a priority
because according to him perpetual darkness to a densely populated city
like Monrovia does not represent a dignity of a country with a registered
image as an oldest African Republic.
Mr. Boimah said as a professional engineer with a marked experience he returned
to the country last year honoring a request by Chairman Bryant to all Liberians
in the Diaspora to help rebuild the nation; but his efforts have so far
been dashed into the dust bin.
&I want to contribute my quota,” he said confidently, adding,
Liberia’s redemption from the current nightmare owes greatly
to the overall involvement of Liberians themselves.
He has therefore urged the NTGL to open door for prepared Liberians to enable
them pay their quota in all respects and let the nation and people see a
true light of national life.
