The Glay family of Liberia has requested an official investigation into the assassination of their brother, Major General Alfred T. Glay, on April 25, 2002 in Ghana.

Furthermore, document relating to his murder and assassination of other Liberian dissentients has been filed with Amnesty International, Human Rights Now, and the U.S. State Department. In consultation with their attorneys, the family will soon make a decision concerning a possible legal action.

Dear Sir,

On behalf of the Glay family I would like to please draw your attention to the assassination of our brother Major General Alfred T. Glay, Sr., former Sr. Aide-de-Camp to the late President Samuel K. Doe of Liberia. This incident, as you know, occurred on Thursday, April 25, 2002, in Ghana. Alfred has sought sanctuary in the Liberian Refugee Camp at Buduburam with his family, his 81 years old mother, and other relatives.

We, the Glay family, are requesting that an official investigation into the assassination of General Glay be held, and that it include an inquiry into the activities, in the Republic of Ghana, of Benjamin Yeaten, director of special security services for the Republic of Liberia,

Included are documents relevant to his assassination.
