Chairman Bryant Nominates Several Persons

The Chairman of the NTGL, C. Gyude Bryant this week nominated the following individuals to the National Transitional Legislative Assembly for confirmation consideration.

Those nominated are: Stephen Y. Neufville, Sr., Deputy Minister for Special Services/ MOS; Maxwell Poe, Deputy Minister for Administration/MRD, Peter N. Korvah, Deputy Minister for Operations/MOA; Caroline Caranda, Deputy Minister for Tourism/MICAT, and Bolling Doekieh, Deputy Minister/Special Assistant/MOS.

Others include Lwopu Kandakai, Deputy Minister for Planning/MGD; Joseph R. N. Anderson, Deputy Minister for Regional Dev. Ext./MOA; Sylvester S. Gbeintor, Deputy Minister for Codification/MOJ, W. Patrick Dennis, Deputy Minister for Operations/MPT and Una Kumba Thompson, Deputy Minister for Administration/MFA.

Additionally, Chairman Bryant appointed the following personalities to various positions of public trust. They are Jacob Sandikie, Vice president for Technical Affairs/LNOC; Shadrack M. Kenneh, Deputy Director for Administration/CNDR; James Strother, Deputy Commissioner for Operations/BIN, Richard Patton, Deputy Director General-LIPA; Harold Monger, Director General-LIPA; and P. EmMersyn Harris, Deputy Director General for Administration/LIPA. Mr. Beyan G. Kota, Deputy Managing for Administration/ Liberia Nat’l Lotteries; James P. Cheyee, Jr., Managing Director, AITB; George Kaidii; Deputy Director General for Broadcasting/LBS; Juliana S. Buror, Deputy Director General for Administration for Adm./LBS; J. Cole Bangalu, Managing Director/NHA and Melvin Sogbandi, Deputy Commissioner for Administration/B.Maritime concluded Chairman Bryant’s nominations yesterday.

In a related development, the National Transitional Legislative Assembly has endorsed and confirmed Cllr. J. Laveli Supuwood as Minister of Labor in the National Transitional Government of Liberia.
