The Justice Ministry is calling on the Central Bank of Liberia to dismantle and remove the dilapidated crane that is hanging over Lynch Street, opposite the Liberia Telecommunications Corporation.

The Ministry in a release, said it is about time that the crane is removed due to the continuous threat it poses to public safety.

According to the Ministry, two by-passers who had been injured as a result of fallen debris from the crane, reported the matter to the Justice Ministry.

The Ministry regretted that despite written communication to the Central Bank authorities two months ago, it is yet to take appropriate steps to dismantle and remove what it considers death trap.

Meanwhile, the Ministry is advising motorists, and the public in general to be mindful of the obvious safety hazard when using the route.
