Two of the three correspondents of Search For Common Ground/Talking Drum Studio-Liberia whose whereabouts were unknown have broken silence.
Oscar Dolo and Nyahn Flomo, the respective correspondents for Bong and Nimba counties, have been in contact with the Monrovia office. Speaking from their location somewhere in Nimba County via a High Frequency (HF) radio, both men said they managed to escape unharmed in the wake of the fighting in Ganta.
Mr. Dolo fled Gbarnga where he was based when that provincial city was attacked and sought refuge in Ganta, which also came under attack.
Search/TDS Management is still however concerned about its Grand Gedeh correspondent, William Quiwea, whose whereabouts remain unknown since an armed group attacked his Zwedru base.
The prolonged silence of the three men in the aftermath of separate armed attacks on Gbarnga, Ganta and Zwedru recently, claimed the attention of Search/TDS management regarding their whereabouts and safety.
Meanwhile, Search/TDS management is grateful to all professional colleagues and members of the public who also showed concern for the whereabouts and safety of its staffers.
